Transfer Printing

This process is great for bold, vibrant, full colour designs as well as single colour individual names, numbers or logos.

Heat transfers involves combining heat and pressure to transfer images to garments. This is a great option for detailed prints, customisation, shorter runs and quick turnaround times.

Heat Transfer Vinyl is made in single colors and also has special options such as patterned, glitter, flocked, holographic, glow in the dark and reflective.

Using a special range of vinyl in conjunction with our Roland cutter plotter system we are able to print, plot and cut transfers that can be applied to garments using a heat transfer press. With excellent opacity and elasticity, this range of materials are soft to the touch, but durable enough for the wear, wash, dry cycle of clothing. They are ideal for sports and leisure wear decoration and can be used on virtually any fabric including polyester, lycra, technical fabrics, waterproofs and jackets.

How does the transfer printing process work?

1. Artwork Submission: To begin the transfer printing process, simply submit your artwork ideally in vector format or high-resolution bitmap (300 DPI). We accept files in EPS, AI, PDF, JPEG, PNG, PSD file format.

2. Artwork Review: Once we receive your artwork, our team will review it to ensure that it meets our printing requirements. We will then provide a digital proof for your approval.

3. Ink and Colour Selection: For best results your artwork should be saved in CMYK mode. If you have any special requirements we will work with you to select the best colours for your design.

4. Artwork Output: Once your artwork is approved and the colours are selected, we print it out on a high resolution wide format printer / cutter that allow us to create custom shapes.

5. Heat Press: With the printed artwork in place, we use a special heat press to transfer it onto the product.

6. Quality Control: Once the printing is complete, we perform a quality control check to ensure that the final product meets our high standards.

Our standard turnaround time for transfer printing is 5-8 business days from the time of proof approval. Rush orders may be available for an additional fee.
